Two day Damascus axe making class

Join us for a class like no other. Two days of damascus making, forging, grinding, handle making and hafting, resulting in a damascus axe, in a style of your choosing, within the parameter of the billet of steel provided.

The process will begin by stacking, forge welding and cutting and restacking the damascus, followed by punching the hole and forging the blade. from here, we can begin the heat treatment process, along with rough grinding and polishing. Day two will see us hewing our ash into functional axe handles and hanging the axe, conlcuded with sharpening.

this course is aimed at 16+ and will be limited to just four participants, as we have a lot of heavy forging and grinding to do under the big hammers.

All PPE and materials provided, just bring yourself, sensible clothing and lunch.
